Early SA Dagger by Bontgen & Sabin, Solingen (soccer shoe & ball inside double oval) TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings with reverse lower cross guard group marked, "Nrh" (Niederrhein). Dark wooden grip shows only light surface wear with no cracks or chips and with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Bright blade grades excellent+, showing very light surface wear/runner marks, with some faint gray shadowing. Deeply-etched motto retains 100% of the light gray factory background frosting. Very few small dents as shown to scabbard which retains approximately 95% of its dark reddish-brown enamel, showing only light surface wear. Nice dagger by rare maker!
