This hand lettered gold-leaf on parchment presentation document was a gift from the NSD-Studentenbund of the Gau Cologne-Aachen to the leader of the Gau, Josef Grohé, on the occasion of his 35th birthday, on November 6, 1937. The document contained in pigskin folio consists of the presentation pages and two pages highlighting the ten precepts of the National Socialist German Student Associartion.
