A rare historical document hand signed by Adolf Hitler, Werner von Blomberg, and Werner von Fritsch retiring Ernst Fessmann as commander of the 3rd Panzer Division in Berlin. Fessmann was the 1st commander of the 3rd Panzer Division and prior to the start of the war was reactivated and went on to serve on the western and eastern front. The document reads in English: "Lieutenant General Fessmann, commander of the 3rd Panzer Division, left active military service on September 30, 1937 with the approval of statutory pensions and with the character of general of the armored troops and with the right to wear his previous uniform. Berlin, September 18, 1937" Embossed eagle with 3 ink signed signatures in excellent condition !
