Nuremberg Desk Eagle # 2983
Nuremberg Desk Eagle # 2983
The Nuremberg desk eagle is so called because it is patterned after the massive iron eagles found at the Luitpold Arena at the Party Rally Grounds in Nuremberg. These eagles were commonly sold during the Rallies as a commemorative item in and around the Rally Grounds. Standing approx. 7 inches high with a wingspan of approx. 5 inches, they are of convenient dimensions and work well in any type of Third Reich collection, Political or otherwise. Due to the symbolism and size, they fit right in in any corner of a historically centered study or collecting room. Surprisingly substantial for an object of its compact stature, it is a real value compared to other Third Reich art.
Silver finish to eagle sitting on white marble base. Marked under tail, "RZM M3/100". Weighs 1800 grams.
