Rare to find these Mettlach stoneware Adolf Hitler busts, as not many survived intact. This one in excellent condition, only defect is to the left ear, where it was chipped. A previous owner painted that black, but this paint could easily be removed. Marked "Villeroy & Boch Mettlach" to the bottom. The square base is 3 1/4" X 3 1/4" in size, the overall height is 11.2".
