The surrounding ring is in green enamel with the inscription, "FACHSCHAFT FUR HETZHUNDE IM R.D.H.E.V. SITZ NURNBERG" (Organization for the Stag Hounds in the R.D.H.E.V. of Nuremburg). The reverse is the head of a stag hound facing right inside a circle formed by a hunting horn.The medal is struck in bronze while the surrounding ring is green enamel inlay. 43mm in size.
