Author and collector Dr Mark Griffith's father found this in Martin Bormann's underground office after the war. The office was located within the tunnel system of Berchtesgaden, which ran between the Berghof and the Hotel Platterhof. It was located under wet rubble and debris, and this the reason for the discoloration of the pennant. This item has been in the Griffith's family collection until now.Post 1939 late style metal vehicle bumper plate for a Reichsleiter.
