Knights Cross of the Iron Cross # 2325
Knights Cross of the Iron Cross # 2325
Knights Cross of the Iron Cross by Steinhauer & Lück. This is a textbook RK which is correctly marked "935/4" on the frame. The "935" denotes the silver content and the "4" denotes maker Steinhauer & Lück. The cross is unworn but air has penetrated breaks in the lacquer resulting in a patina at the corners. This is three piece construction, with a magnetic core. The loop is original and correctly marked "800" (stamped). Included is a 25cm piece of original ribbon. The cross comes with it's original black case and the correct silk top. The exterior of the case shows scuffs and chaffing. This was originally purchased directly from the veterans son by military dealer, Jason Burmeister.
Letters of Authenticity from Dietrich Maerz included along with period case and ribbon.
Weight is 29.8 grams with the loop.
